Get true tone of color

Why to use putty ? Putty covers up pinholes or any other undulations in the plaster and gives a smooth finish to the wall. Pinholes, if left unfilled can cause breeding of insects and peeling of color coat. Moreover, putty also helps to outshine the true tone of you wall color. Initially, people used lime (chuna) for wall levelling and finishing. But many a times due to poor quality of lime, wall finish may get affected. So, use of putty is recommended for wall finishing. What is dolomite content in putty? Dolomite (chemical formula - Mg(CaO3)2 ) is a type of limestone which is responsible for whiteness of putty. More the dolomite, more is the whiteness. Excess content of dolomite, can increase the whiteness of putty but may reduce it's strength and can result to cracks.
